Lux Property has revealed it has been left stunned by the sheer number of people who have recently come forward claiming they own villas in the Marina Bay City project in Lombok, Indonesia — despite Lux having no record of them as clients and having received almost no construction payments on their behalf.

Lux bought out KINNARA (K-I-N-N-A-R-A) from the Marina Bay City project in October 2025. As part of that buyout, Kinnara exited the project entirely and ceased to have any authority, rights, or legal standing to represent Marina Bay City, Lux Property, or issue contracts for villas within the development.

Yet according to an insider at Lux, the company is now being approached almost daily by people asking a simple and deeply troubling question:

“Where is my villa, and why hasn’t construction started?”
